about
Sundowning is the final track on my last album 'Red Sunset Dreams'. On the record it features the vocals of Dot Allison but live is instrumental and stretches out for over 8 minutes. This recording was made on the 8th of April, 2023 at The Band Room, Farndale, Yorkshire, features electronic drums from Richard Norris' remix of the track and Dean Roby on bass guitar.
The term "sundowning" refers to a state of confusion in dementia patients occurring in the late afternoon and lasting into the night, so all the proceeds from the track will be donated to Dementia UK.

I love the album and am making some deep grooves in Way of the World, Riverside, Sidewinder and This is Our Year. But I especially love Holiday in the Sun, as it’s so relaxing and relatable…
